JAMMU, May 25: Jammu District Men & Women Hockey League-2024 organized by J&K Sports Council concluded here today at KK Hakku Stadium.
Rajender Singh Tara Transport Commissioner was the chief guest and Rajiv Sharma Member J&K Sports Council was the guest of honour in the final matches. Baljinder Singh DSO J&K Sports Council among other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
In the final match of Women category played between Khelo India Hockey Centre Jammu and Sahara Warrior Hockey Club in which Khelo India Hockey Centre Jammu clinched the victory by 5-0 goals.
Player of the match was declared Komal from Khelo India Hockey Centre Jammu. She was awarded with the cash prize and hockey Stick. The final Match in the Men category was played between Khalsa Hockey Club and G.N.N Hockey Club in which Khalsa Hockey Club won by 3-0 goals. The man of the match was awarded to Gagandeep Singh Khalsa.
Man player of the tournament was declared Tejpal Singh of G.N.N Hockey Club. Fair play trophy was given to Master X1 while the best emerging team was declared Govt. High School Chak Jaral.
