Jammu Green XI to lock horns with Jammu Blue XI in summit clash today

JAMMU, June 4: Jammu Green XI will lock horns with Jammu Blue XI in the summit clash of the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Junior Cricket Premier League, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Club at GGM Science College hostel ground tomorrow.
Earlier, in the second semifinal match, Jammu Green XI registered emphatic 117 runs win over Jammu Blue XI. Batting first, Jammu Green XI set a target of 206 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 40 overs. Uttkarsh and Aditpal were the top scorers with 32 runs, while Azaan and Ahruv chipped in 31 and 30 runs respectively.
For Jammu Blue XI side, Anjala scalped 3 wickets while Abhijit took 2 wickets. Anmol and Dikshant clinched 1 wicket apiece.
In the second inning, Jammu Blue XI failed to chase the target and bundled out at paltry 89 runs for all out in 22 overs. Dikshant made 26 runs, while Aniket scored 21 runs.
For Jammu Green XI side, Aditya, Anmol Bhan and Sachin scalped 2 wickets each, while Saiyan, Aditpal and Virander took one wicket apiece.
Aditpal of Jammu Green XI was declared as Man of the Match for his all round performance.
The match was officiated by Rajender Singh and Sadik Hussain Malik as umpires, while Vinod maintained the scorecard.
