JAMMU, Dec 25: Jammu Dreamz in association with Nirvana Academy organized ‘Mr J&K 2012’ at the Auditorium of Government Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk, here today.
President Nirvana Academy Hitesh Badyal was the chief guest on the occasion. The programme was conducted to groom the young talent of the State. Twelve finalists from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir took part in the programme. A dance programme was also organised on the occasion to celebrate Christmas. Umesh Singh a noted actor and Director and Deepak Sharma ‘Mr J&K 2008’ were the jury members.
Programme started with the introduction round, which was followed by prop round and question answer round. Rounds were choreographed by Prince and Param Jeet Kaur. Dance performance on Jingle bell song which was choreographed by Shaku mesmerized the audience.
Dogri Dance by Sarika Mattoo and dance performance by choreographer Sanjeev Magotra was highly appreciated by the audience. Prince Nagotra, Director of the show, expressed satisfaction over the performance.
Sub tittles were also distributed to the participants like Mr Jammu to Prabal Sharma, Mr Kashmir to Naveen Pandit, Mr Chenab Valley to Shamim Kelu, Mr Cute to Rahil Sharma, Best Costume to Sharikh Ikhlaaq, Face of the year to Sahil Sharma, Best Physique to Shubham Sahney, Best Hairstyle to Abhinandan Singh Parmar, Best Smile to Ankush Mahajan, Mr Photogenic to Novjot Singh and Best Walk to Tanveer Shah.
Present on the occasion were Neeraj Sharma, Nishant Vaid, Shaveta Sharma and Neha Varma. Kiaraa Pandita anchored the programme.
Naveen Pandit secured the title of ‘Mr J&K 2012’ while Ist runners-up was Shubham Sahney and 2nd runners- up Prabhal Sharma.
