JAMMU, Nov 19: Jammu division got better of Kashmir division in both the matches of the State Level Inter-Division Under-19 Girls Handball Championship, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), under the patronage of its Director General, Navin Aggarwal, here.
The competition is being held under the chairmanship of Ved Prakash, Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports and under the overall supervision of Tirath Ram, DYSSO Jammu.
In the first match played today, Jammu division defeated Kashmir division by thirteen goals to five (13-5) in an easy contest. Simran scored 8 goals for Jammu division, while Anadhika netted 3 goals. Vanshika also scored one goal.
In another contest, Jammu division thrashed Kashmir division by fourteen goals to nil (14-0) in a one-sided contest. Simran again emerged top scorer with 8 goals, while Anadhika and Ria Sagar netted 3 goals each and Vanshika scored one.
