JAMMU, Nov 1: Jammu District Open Table Tennis, being organized by J&K Table Tennis Association got underway at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
The Championship was declared open by V K Magoo, president of J&K Table Association in an impressive and well attended function.
The final of the Championship will be held on November 4, 2014 at the same venue.
Earlier, in cadet girls, Iknoor trounced Archita Kesar (2-1) by 11-7, 7-11 and 11-8. After winning the first set easily, Iknoor lost the second one and came back strongly to win the match by (2-1) sets.
In another match, Meghna got better of Yoguni (2-0) by 11-6, 11-5 and 13-11.
