JAMMU, May 26: Two days Jammu District Korfball Championship commenced, here today.
Eight teams of Jammu district are taking part in the championship, which was inaugurated by Raman Sherpuri, Senior Business Associate LIC of India Jammu in presence of RK Sharma, Secretary, Seema Kharyal, Manjit Singh and Irfan Choudhary, members of the association.
On the first day of the championship, Jammu Blue beat Jammu Shining Star by 7-5, Jammu Red thrashed Jammu South by 8-4 and Jodhamal School beat Evergreen Club by 6-3.
The semifinal and final of the Championship will be played tomorrow.
