Jammu District Boxing Championship commences

JAMMU, Jan 30: Jammu District Boxing Championship commenced today at Boxing Ring, Indoor Sports Complex MA Stadium here.
Around 65 boxers from different parts of the Jammu District are taking part in the championship.
The championship is being organized by J&K State Amateur Boxing Association and is sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
In 60 kgs, Vikram Singh defeated Sanjeet Singh and Vivek Sharma defeated Ram Singh, whereas in 64 kgs, Ayushman Share defeated Abhijeet Singh and Akshat Aggarwal defeated Vishal Sharma.
In 69 kgs, Yashpal Anthal defeated Shubam Pagoch and Amit Pakaya defeated Ankaj Kerni, in 89 kgs, Mohit Singh defeated Pardeep Singh and Harshdev Singh defeated Danish Wani.
In 52 kgs, Rahul Dabogtra defeated Mukesh and Kamal defeated Akash Kumar, Sahil Singh defeated Santana, Dinesh Verma defeated Rohit Sharma, Goutam defeated Aditya Sharma and Aadeesh Sharma defeated Devasaya Sharma.
The championship is being organized under the supervision of Rajan Sharma General Secretary, J&K State Amateur Boxing Association.
SS Gill, qualified technical official of Boxing, Anil Wadhera Senior Boxing Coach, Goutam Sharma, Sunny and Ricky were also present on the occasion.
