JAMMU, Dec 10: Jammu Club introduced three new games including Carrom, Dart Board and Chess in the Club premises, here today.
While inaugurating the new games in the Club premises, the honorary secretary, Rattandeep Anand said that these new games in the premises will help members and their wards to spend more time in their second home as well as give more opportunity to the deserving members of the Club.
He further said that more activities with more competitions can be held in near future.
He thanked the members of the Health Club Committee who took extra efforts to introduce these types of games in the prestigious Club.
Carrom is a tabletop game of Indian origin and is very popular in the Indian subcontinent and is known by various names in different languages. Darts or dart-throwing is a competitive sport in which two or more players bare-handedly throw small sharp pointed missiles known as darts at a round target which is known as a dartboard and Chess is a board game played between two players and is one of the world’s most popular game, played by millions of people worldwide.
