JAMMU, Oct 10: The Samba leg of the JHPCL Cricket Tournament is being played in full swing.
Two matches were played today. The first match was between teams of village Katli and village Raipur.
Team Katli played first and scored 74 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
Team Raipur easily chased this total and won the match by 6 wickets.
Nitin who scored 31 runs and took 5 wickets was adjudged man of the match.
The second match was played between village Jatwal and village Chak Manga. The team of Jatwal played first and scored 117 runs in 20 overs.
While chasing, the team of Chak Manga scored112 runs to lose the match by 6 runs. The man of the match was given to Rinku of team Jatwal who took 6 wickets.
Meanwhile, in the series of JHPCL Phase-I, Pakhri thrashed Rehal in a one-sided contest by 38 runs.
