JAMMU, Oct 16: Inter-Zonal District Level (IZDL) Under-14 Cricket tournament, being organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports got underway at Khel Gaon Nagrota, near here today.
All the Zones of Jammu district are taking part in this knockout tournament with an aim to select best players for the Inter District State Level competitions coming ahead. The matches were officiated by a panel of experts of the department concerned.
Bhalwal beat RS Pura by 9 wickets, whereas Zone Jammu trounced Jourian by 10 wickets and Gandhi Nagar drubbed Chowki Choura by 9 wickets.
The tournament is being organized under the chairmanship of Gazanfer Ali, Director Youth Services & Sports J&K and under the supervision of DYSSO Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
