JAMMU, Oct 22: One day Jammu District Yoga Championship for boys and girls was held at Handa Collage, Sainik Colony, here.
Dr Vikram Handa, Principal Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School Sainik Colony was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed the certificates to the 80 boys and girls winners in presence of Anshuman Sharma, General Secretary J&K Yoga Association, who was guest of honour.
In 8 to 11 years girls, Iva Bharti, Gurpreet Angel and Sania clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in boys’ category, Shivender Panday, Aditya and Vivek emerged as winners.
In 11 to 14 years girls, Phalak Bhagat, Heena Verma and Manvinder Kour emerged winners, whereas in boys’ category, Ketan, Sahil and Mohammad Ham Zareyaz clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In 14 to 17 years girls, Risha Rajput, Simran Bhat and Harleen Kour bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in boys’ category, Abhishek Sharma, Shubham Dubay and Tarun clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In 17 to 21 years girls, Muskaan Rajput emerged winner, whereas in boys section Sadam Hussain clinched first position.
In 21 to 25 years girls, Shagun Gupta emerged as winner.
