JAMMU, Nov 7: Four cueists entered into the semis in Senior Snooker, being organized during the ongoing 27th Sub Junior, Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here tomorrow.
The cueists, who entered the semis, are Ishan Choudhary, Nikhil Kapahi, Vidit Gawri and Sohail Khalid.
Earlier in the quarterfinal matches, Ishan Choudhary defeated Ishuk Choudhary by 2-0 frames (100-50 and 100-88), whereas Nikhil Kapahi registered berth in the semis by outplaying Abhishek Pathania by 2-0 frames (100-96 and 101-78).
Vidit Gawri registered win over Vishal Abrol by 2-1 frames (100-81, 79-100 and 101-55 and Sohail Khalid defeated Mohit Mahajan by 2-0 frames (100-55 and 101-65).
It is pertinent to mention here that 27th Sub Junior, Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship is being organized by J&K Billiards and Snooker Association under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council.
