IRP 5th Bn organizes seminar on ‘Menace of Drug Addiction’

BHADERWAH, Oct 25: Indian Reserve Police (IRP) 5th battalion under civic action programme of J&K Police organized a seminar on “Menace of Drug Addiction” at Government Higher Secondary School, Malothi.
In the seminar, the students of Government Higher Secondary School, Malothi and other schools participated and presented their views on the topic.
On the occasion, DK Slathia, Commandant IRP 5th Battalion, Beoli, Doda presided over the function and distributed coir matting, 50 desks, 2 HP Printer 3-in-1, 600 registers, 470 pens, 2 cricket kits, 4 volleyballs, 2 footballs, 2 pairs of badmintons, nets and eatable items for the welfare of the students.
In the seminar, Sonia Chouhan, Asif Jan and Osheen Naz were adjudged first, second and third respectively and they were presented with a momentum by the chief guest. Besides, the twenty students who made their speech on the topic were gifted with an Oxford English Dictionary.
