IRP 13th Battalion distributes uniforms, stationary among deserving students

JAMMU, Aug 9: To facilitate the education of the children belonging to the economically downtrodden sections of the society, the IRP 13th Battalion distributed free uniforms and stationary articles among them under Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Battalion Headquarters at Ghaink Gharota, here today.
Amounting to Rs 1.11 lakh the uniforms and stationary material was distributed among 106 children, which included 50 male and 56 female students.
The function among others was attended by T Paunchok, DIG IRP, Jammu, Sham Sunder Sharma, SSP APCR, Jammu, Ghulam Rasool, Dy SP IRP 13th Battalion, Joginder Singh Chib, DySP IRP 13th Battalion and Kuldeep Singh, Zonal Education Officer Bhalwal.
While speaking on the occasion, T Paunchok expressed solidarity in serving the civil society to the best possible extent through various Civic Action Programmes organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department.
ZEO Bhalwal Kuldeep Singh and Sarpanches Dalbir Singh, Kuldip Singh and Asgar Ali also spoke on the occasion.
