Iran Wrestler Hadi lifts 10th Muthwar Kesari title

KATRA, Oct 5: Hadi of Iran defeated another International Wrestler, Dyneshwar Bhaskar Jamdade (Mouli) of Maharashtra to win the title bout that lasted for 28 minutes at Baba Ballo Dev Shathan in Village Muthwar, here.
The historic International Indian Style Kushti (Maha-Dangal) was organized by Mathuwar Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of Baba Shri Yash Paul Sharma, former Sarpanch Ashok Kumar Sharma and President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma.
In all, 32 bouts were played in the one day long Dangal and Rs 7,00,000 has been incurred for the conduct of this one day long Dangal.
Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed cash prizes among the winners and runners-up wrestlers. Vice President Indian Style Wrestling Association of India Shiv Kumar Sharma presided over the function.
Prominent persons who were present on the occasion were SP Rural Jammu, Suram Singh, Retd. SP Prithivi Raj Sharma, Naresh Kumar (Pappu lakri) Tilak Raj Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, Sohan Singh Raman Kumar and Ex. Sarpanch Babishan Singh.
The first Malli (title winner) Wrestler Hadi was presented Rs 75, 000 as cash prize along with traditional Gurj (Gadda) and Patta by Baba Shri Yash Paul Sharma while runners-up Wrestler Mouli got Rs 50,000 by Ashok Kumar Sharma.
For the second malli bout held for Rs one lakh, Mohanu of Delhi gave a tough fight to his opponent Wrestler Bagher from Cuba. Cash prize of Rs 60,000 was given to winner Wrestler Mohanu, while runner-up Wrestler got Rs 40,000.
