JAMMU, Nov 17: Indian Pencak Silat Federation (IPSF) felicitated Rayees Ahmed of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) for his outstanding performance in the recent National and International events held in Pencak Silat at Thailand and Malaysia.
In a valedictory function of 4th North Zone Pencak Silat Championship organised by IPSF at Jammu, Ashok Kaul, BJP General Secretary (Organisation) J&K presented a cash award of Rs 50,000 each to Mr Rayees of JKP and another ace performer Karan Chopra.
Rayees attributed his success to the Police Department, his parents, and his coach Mohd Iqbal.
He pinned hopes that the Police Department will provide all kind of facilities to Pencak Silat players in their future endeavours.
