JAMMU, Sept 11: Intra-College Volleyball Tournament began in GGM Science College, here today.
Prof Ajeet Angral, Principal of the College was the chief guest on the inaugural function.
Earlier, Dr Vinod Bakshi, Physical Director and all the players of the different teams welcomed the chief guest.
Ten teams are participating in the Tournament.
Six matches were played today, wherein Shastri House, Vivekanand House, Rajguru House and Bhagat Singh House made it to the semiinals.
Dr Bakshi said that the aim of organizing this event is to have maximum participation of the students in sports activities, besides developing physical fitness.
Principal of the College, Prof. Ajeet Angral advised the students to take maximum benefit from the available sports infrastructure.
