JAMMU, Jan 8: Two Squash courts of International standards became operational at KC Sports Club, here.
The Squash Courts are break-through developments in the sporting scenario of Jammu, which offer the general public of Jammu the opportunity to play the game in the best possible settings and at their own convenience.
The facility is also the first of its kind venture in private sector since Squash has hitherto been restricted to a few elite local clubs in the city.
These Courts at the Club meet global standards, having wooden flooring made from the finest maple wood imported from abroad and both the Courts are fitted with custom made lighting system.
The glass partitions facing the spacious foyer between the courts offer the ease of watching people playing the game so that the beginners in particular can pick a tab or two on playing techniques of the game.
The game has caught the fancy of young students taking part in the ongoing Winter Camp at the Club and they are learning the game under the supervision of an expert and experienced coach.
