Inter-Zonal U-19 Boys Cricket tourney commences

JAMMU, Oct 25: The Inter-Zonal District Level Cricket tournament for U-19 Boys commenced today at Parade Ground, Jammu, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu. The tournament aims to provide a competitive platform for young cricketers to exhibit their skills and sportsmanship.
In the event around 50 players from different zones of District Jammu are participating in this cluster-level competition. The matches are being conducted smoothly by experienced officials of the department, including Sandeepan Sharma, Satpal Singh, Jagtar Singh, Vikram Dogra, Satika Sharma, Rajesh Choudhary, Jatinder Singh, Ajay Koul, Madan Mohan and other technical staff.
In today’s match, Zone Miran Sahib defeated Zone Dansal by five wickets. Batting first, Zone Dansal were bowled out for 102 runs in 13.2 overs, with Ranjeet Kumar scoring 18 runs off 11 balls. For Miran Sahib, Bansh took five wickets in four overs. In reply, Zone Miran Sahib chased the target in 11.2 overs, scoring 106/6, with Lovesh (35 off 21 balls) and Bansh (20 off 9 balls) leading the chase.
