SAMBA, May 29: The Department of Youth Services and Sports District Samba organised Inter-School District Level Cricket Boys Under-17 years at Maharaja Suchet Singh Stadium, here.
The Tournament is being held under the overall supervision of DYSSO Samba, Sunil Kumar.
In the first match of the tournament, Humanity Public School defeated Vijaypur HSSS by 20 runs, while in another match played between the teams of BHSS Samba and NV Dhalote, former defeated latter by 2 runs in a close contest.
In yet another match, BHSS Samba drubbed Humanity Public School by 14 runs. Shivang was declared as the man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Chander Parkash, Joginder Sharma, Mohinder Kumar, Rakesh Charak, Sandeep Singh, Daljeet Singh, Arjun Kumar, Arun Jamwal and Bachan Khajuria.
