SUNDERBANI, May 23: Two days tournament in the disciplines of Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Handball in age groups of Under-17 boys and girls, organized at Govt. High Secondary School, Lamberi concluded, here today.
Hitesh Gupta, SDM Sunderbani was the chief guest on the concluding ceremony, who while speaking stressed upon the importance of games and sports in one’s life.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Youth Servicers and Sports, under the overall supervision of Mohd Ayaz Khan, District Youth Servics and Sports Officer, Rajouri. In Volleyball final, HSS Kalsian defeated High School Siot by 2-1 sets, while in Kho-Kho final, High School, Kalideh defeated High School, Anderoot by 2 points and in Kabaddi final, High School, Dabbarpotha got better of Higher Secondary School Sunderbani by 2 points.
