Inter District State Level Rollball Tournament held

KATHUA, Oct 13: Inter District State Level Rollball Tournament organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports for boys and girls under all age groups was held at Delhi Public School, Rajbagh.
The tournament was inaugurated by Chairman DPS Ram Avtar Agarwal in the presence of Nirmal Mahana, Principal DPS, Organising Secretary Kuldeep Singh, Joint Organising Secretary Joginder Kumar Khajuria, ZPEO Sukesh Kumar, Kailash Chander, Sat Paul, Kewal Krishan, Avnesh Kumar, Tilak Raj, etc.
The inaugural event was played between Kathua and Samba in which Kathua emerged winner by 10-6 goals.
In under 14 boys, Jammu defeated Kathua by 4-0, whereas in girls category, Kathua registered win over Jammu by 3-0.
In under 17 boys, Jammu outplayed Kathua by 4-3, whereas in girls category, Jammu trounced Kathua by 1-0.
A total of 113 players of three districts participated in the tournament.
Later, Principal DPS Nirmal Mahana distributed prizes to the winners.
The matches were officiated by Vishal Bharti Slathia, Rajesh Bhandral, Mamta Chohan, Suresh Kumar, Ajit Singh, Parveen Singh, Pankaj Spolia and Rani Andotra.
