JAMMU, Oct 4: Division Level Inter-District Shooting Competition, being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports got underway at International Delhi Public School, here today.
The Competition is being held in all age groups of boys and girls.
Around 150 students are taking part in the event. The shooters have been drawn from the districts of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Reasi, Doda and Udhampur.
Priya Sethi,former Minister inaugurated the event in the presence of other dignitaries including KS Jamwal, General Secretary Jammu & Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA) and Chandrakanta Sharma, Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO), RS Pura.
The event is being held under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports, Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, while District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu, Sukhdev Raj Sharma is the Organising Secretary.
