JAMMU, Oct 5: Two-day Inter-district Kho-Kho Tournament concluded today at Sports Stadium, Kathua, as Udhampur won the final match by beating Kathua team by an innings and 6 points.
Earlier, in the 1st semifinal match, district Kathua team defeated Kargil by 3 points while in the 2nd semifinal, district Udhampur thrashed Jammu by a close margin of 1 point.
A total of six teams participated in the tournament, which was organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Kathua. All the matches were played under the overall supervision of Sunil Kumar, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kathua.
The tournament was officiated by Chain Singh, Lecturer in Physical Education accompanied by Kailash Chander, Avneesh Kumar, Subhash Sharma, Veena Devi, Ashok Kumar and Kewal Kumar.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Udhampur, Sukhdev Singh, was also present during the tournament.
