KISHTWAR, May 20: State Level Inter-District Kabaddi Tournament Under-14 girls was inaugurated by ADC Kishtwar at Girls HSS, here today.
The tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Dewan Chand Thakur and under patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports, Navin Agarwal.
The event was marked by impressive speeches of chief guest ADDC AS Chib, SP Sanjay Kotwal, DYSSO Kishtwar,Thakur Dewan Chand, Chander Shekhar, Lecturer Physical Education and Pardeep Koul who was anchoring the show.
The occasion was conspicuous by the presence of Major Rahul, Principal HSS Boys/Girls Kishtwar and other dignitaries.
The officials of the Department present on the occasion included Joginder Singh Bhandari, Roshan Lal, Subash Chander, Duni Chand, Reva Rani, Bharti Sherawat, Sanjay Sen, Karnail, Javed Kripyak, Zorawer, Vijay and Suresh Kumar.
The first match was played between the teams of District Jammu and District Ramban which was won by District Jammu by 72 points.
