REASI, Nov 29: Inter-District Division level Athletic Meet for boys and girls, organised by District Youth Services and Sports in collaboration with SMVDSB, entered in Day-3 at SMVD Sports Complex Katra, here today.
Joint Director YS&S, Suram Chand Sharma was the chief guest, who distributed medals and certificates to the winners and participants. He also interacted with the REKs of district during the reorientation-cum- refresher course and advised them to work in letter and spirit
In track event under-14 boys (100 meters), Rakesh Kumar won Gold, Anubhav Angral secured Silver and Mohd Sameer clinched Bronze medal, in 200 mtrs, Rakesh Kumar -Gold, Goutam Singh Chambyal-Silver and Momin Mirza-Bronze, in 400 mtrs, Mohd Jiaz -Gold, Sahil Manhas- Silver and Ansh Kumar- Bronze, in 600 mtrs, Momin Mirza -Gold, Mohd Abrar- Silver and Mohd Shaied-Bronze.
In under- 17 boys (100 mtrs), Tanvir Singh-Gold, Vishav Andotra- Silver and Zazakat Husssain- Bronze, while in 200 mtrs, Raksham-Gold, Nazakat Hussain- Silver and Chander Deep-Bronze, in 400 mtrs, Aman Khokar-Gold, Mukesh Singh- Silver and Mohd Asif-Bronze, in 800 mtrs, Sunny Sharma- Gold, Aman Khokar- Silver and Anish Sharma-Bronze, in 1500 mtrs, Suraj Singh-Gold, Raghu Nandan- Silver and Touseef Ahmed-Bronze and in 3000 mtrs, Bhag Singh -Gold, Akshay Kumar- Silver and Sumit Lal-Bronze.
In field event boys (High jump under-17), Prikshat Singh- Gold, Mohd Rashid- Silver and Abhay Thakur- Bronze, while in long jump, Rakwham Matoo- Gold, Usman Altaf- Silver and Aman Khokar-Bronze and in discus throw, Saviter Singh-Gold, Suresh Bhagat- Silver and Kamran Hamid- Bronze, besides in shot put under-17, Mohd Rafiq-Gold, Udhay Partap- Silver and Saviter Singh- Bronze.
In under-14 boys high jump: Manav Jeet Singh-Gold, Mohd Aqib-Silver and Munish Kumar-Bronze, while in discus throw, Vansh Singh-Gold, Rakesh Kumar-Silver and Vivek Kumar-Bronze and in long jump-under-14, Vikas Singh-Gold, Sanjay Singh- Silver and Akash Bharti-Bronze.
