JAMMU, Feb 28: Inter- Collegiate Powerlifting (Men and Women) competitions organized by Cluster University of Jammu at Government SPMR College of Commerce here today.
Dr Vinod Bakshi Director Physical Education & Sports, CLUJ was the Chief Guest during the opening ceremony and Kajal Permi Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu was guest of honour while Raman Kumar, Physical Director of GCOE, Neenu Physical Director MAM College, Astt. PTI Neelam Kumari were present during the competition. The tournament was organized under the overall Supervision of Ravi Kumar Physical Director Govt. SPMR College of Commerce.
In the men’s Section Govt. SPMR College of Commerce emerged as a winner by scoring 20 points and M.A.M College remained runner-up by scoring 16 points. In women’s section Dhanshika Sharma and Sujani Bhua Semester 3rd 5th of GCW Gandhi and Tamanna of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce won Gold Medals. The competition was officiated by Ajay Sharma, Deepak Jyoti and Rahul Sawhney.
