JAMMU, Jan 27: Inter Collegiate Cricket Tournament organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu (JU) commenced today at the University of Jammu Cricket Ground.
In the opening match, the team of Government Degree College (GDC) Poonch beats GDC Marh team by 63 runs. In another match, GMC Jammu beats Basker Degree College by 7 wickets.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba (Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, JU) was the chief guest of the opening match. He introduced both the team players before the start of the game.
The matches were officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Rahul Kumar, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Suresh Singh, Tahir Mahmood and Manoj Kumar.
