JAMMU, Nov 7: The Inter-Collegiate Boxing (Men) Championship commenced at University of Jammu, organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu, here.
In today’s results, Anand Singh GDC Udhampur beat Amit Sharma GDC Rajouri ( 46 – 49 kg category); Navesh of MAM College defeated Shubam GDC Kathua (46 – 49 kg category); Rahul Sharma GDC Bishnah got the better of Munish of GDC Udhampur (49 – 52 kg); Vishav Pratap of GDC Samba prevailed over Ajay Singh of Science College (49 – 52 kg); Sanjeev GDC Kathua outplayed Desh Bandhi of PG, JU(49-52 kg); Sunny of Commerce College beat Kunal Sharma, PG, JU (52-56kg); Anzar Anayat, GDC Udhampur drubbed Rahul of MAM College (56-60 kg); Sahil Kumar of Commerce outclassed Basharat of Science College (56-60 kg) and Mohd Yasir of GDC Rajouri beat Namesh of GDC Kathua College (56-60 kg).
The bouts were officiated by Sanjeev Jamwal, Harinder Pal Singh, Aman Sangral, Khalida Bano, Sarfraz and Sajad Ahmed.
