JAMMU, Feb 17: Department of Punjabi in collaboration with Department of Physical Education and Sports, GDC Sunderbani organised an inter-college essay writing competition, here today.
The competition was organised on the theme ‘Life and Teaching of Guru Ravi Dass Ji’. The event was conducted under the supervision of the College Principal, Dr Vandana Gupta, while the programme was coordinated by Prof Beant Singh HoD Punjabi and Ravi Kumar.
The event was judged by Prof Rabinder Kumar (HoD Hindi) and Prof Kuldeep Raj and Prof Sandeep Sharma.
The first position was shared by Tamana Kumar and Anju Bala while Ansuja Devi bagged 2nd position and Madhavi Sharma, Priya Sharma and Mansi Sharma shared 3rd place, besides Rimpy Kumari of DAV College for Girls Yamuna Nagar also secured 3rd position.
