UDHAMPUR, July 14: Handball trainees of District Coaching Centre Udhampur interacted with former International Handball Player and Coach, Indradeo Sharma, Retired Senior Coach from Sports Authority of India (SAI).
He shared his experience as a Goalkeeper for Indian Handball Team and Services Team.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sharma has remained number-one Goalkeeper of Indian Handball Team from 1982 to 1990, including IXth Asian Games.
“Sports help youth to channelize their energy in a positive direction and sportspersons can make their career in the field of sports as a player, coach, teacher, fitness experts and sports managers,” Indradeo expressed.
He bestowed tips to the youngsters on the occasion.
On the occasion, Indradeo Sharma was honoured by the Organisers and Handball lovers including Ajit Singh, Rohit Khajuria, Sourabh Pandit, Karun Magotra, Ravi Kumar, Handball Trainer and Vipin Photra, Handball Trainer JKSSC.
