Indian, Georgia wrestlers all set to vie for 7th Mathwar Kesari Dangal title

JAMMU, Sept 29: Indian and Georgia wrestlers are all set to vie for the title of the 7th Mathwar Kesari Dangal, which is scheduled to be held on October 7 at Baba Ballo Dev Sthan in village Mathwar.
The decision regarding organizing this mega historic international Indian style dangal for the seventh time was taken in a meeting held at Mathwar under the chairmanship of Baba Yash Paul Sharma. President, J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma, Sarpanch Ashok Kumar Sharma, Tilak Raj Sharma, Ram Pal Sharma, Baboo, Kaku, Shakti, Narinder, Babu, Naresh Kumar, Murli Dhar, Master Banarsi Lal, Lamberdar Mohan Lal, Jagdish Dutt, Darshan Chand, Baldev Raj, Ami Chand, Hari Chand, Puran Chand and Om Parkash also attended the meet.
While speaking, Sharma informed that main attraction of the dangal is bouts between Georgia wrestler Lavan Berianpze (125 kgs Bronze Medalist at World Wrestling Championship at Moscow in 2010), Wrestler Giorgi Sakandelpze (125 kgs), Hind Kesari and Bharat Kesari International Wrestler Sabha of Punjab and Joginder of Chand Roop Akhara Delhi, Hind Kesari and International Wrestler.
A prize money for Ist malli bout is Rs 1,25,000 along with traditional Silver Gurj (Gada) and Mathwar Kesari title 2016 Pata while prize money for the second malli bout is Rs 1,00,000.
Shiv Kumar Sharma said that National Wrestlers from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, HP, UP, Chandigarh, Railways, BSF, J&K Police and J&K State have already confirmed their participation in this historic wrestling competition.
