India U-14 girls beat Bhutan 9-0

Kolkata, Mar 24:
India U-14 Girls National Team made merry against Bhutan in an emphatic 9-0 victory in the 2014 AFC Girls Regional Championship for South and Central Asia at the Baddegana Football Training Centre in Colombo today.    Midfielder Sirjana Tamang notched up four goals (50, 56, 66, 69) in the second half and Roja Devi (21, 57, 62) netted a hattrick either side of halftime to underline India’s dominance in what was an utterly lopsided encounter from the word go, AIFF sources said.
Lifa Gama – with a first half brace — (25, 35+1) and Daya Devi (31) also got on the scoresheet for the inaugural champions.    The win takes India to nine points from four outings with the girls in blue moving to the second position over Iran who lost 0-4 to table toppers Nepal.
