India to participate at Rio 2016 Footvolley World Tournament

Mumbai, Aug 23: Footvolley Association of India has recently announced names of two Maharashtra players, Cajetan Dias and Kundan Chandra, who will be representing India at the Rio 2016 Footvolley World Tournament.

The tournament will be held from tomorrow till August 28 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Rio 2016 Footvolley World Tournament is a demo game conducted under observation of International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The competition will be held in the offficial beach stadium of the Olympic Games of Copacabana Beach, a media release issued here said.     (PTI)
