JAMMU, July 11: Income Tax Department Mumbai Region has invited online application for recruitment of Inspector of Income Tax, Tax Assistant and Multi-Tasking Staff on its official website (www.incometaxmumbai.gov.in) under ‘Sport Quota Recruitment-2021’.
As per the official notification, out of 155 posts, there are eight posts of Inspector having pay level-7 (Rs 44900 to 142400), while 83 posts of Tax Assistant having pay level-4 (Rs 25500 to 81100) and 64 posts of Multi Tasking Staff having pay level-1 (Rs 18,000 to 56900) for meritorious sports persons who have been excelled in their respective fields.
The 22 games/sports for the recruitment were shortlisted including Athletics, Swimming, Squash, Billiards, Chess, Carrom, Bridge, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Shooting, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Boxing, Judo, Gymnastics, Bodybuilding, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Kabaddi and Cricket wherein for last six disciplines only male players can apply while for other disciplines both male and female players can apply.
“The interested candidates should have Bachelor’s degree from the recognised university or equivalent for the post of Income Tax Inspector with age from 18 to 30 years, whereas for Tax Assistant the age of the candidates should 18-27 years and having Bachelor’s degree and Data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hours and the age of Multi-Tasking Staff has been decided 18-25 years and having Matriculation or equivalent from the recognised University/Board,” the notification read as.
Candidates who are eligible and interested can apply online and the application form is available on the website www.incometaxmumbai.gov.in or https://www.incometazmumbai.in/. The last date of online application is August 28.
