JAMMU, Apr 27: Backed with strong legacy of campus placements, since its inception and understanding its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), IMS through its flagship Campus placement drive programme (CPDP) and in continuation with its on campus recruitment drives for the year 2015 passing-out batch of all Streams of MBA including HR, Marketing and Finance, a two day Mega Placement Drive by HDFC Bank concluded today at the Institute of Management Sciences.
Bavleen Singh, Branch Head-HDFC Bank, Panchkula shortlisted 10 candidates for the final HR round at Chandigarh.
The selected candidates will undergo Training for 3 weeks at their respective branches of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula with the salary package of Rs 2.40 to 3.0LPA+ variables.
Welcome address was presented by Prof J R Dhotra, Director IMS in presence of 2015 pass out students from the streams of Finance & Marketing and other prominent senior members of the Faculty.
The success story of these placement drives for 2015 passed-out batch is significant, since the students of IMS excelled in more than 6 Multi-National Companies both on and off campus drives like Jaro Education, Sharekhan, DHLF, Android, Airtel, HDFC Bank and more in the slot to visit IMS (on Campus) are ICICI Prudential, IMS Health, Eureka Forbes & Reliance Communications and off Campus it is ITC Ltd, Panchkula.  Number of talented and professional candidates from IMS were selected by these Corporate houses.
The entire on-campus and off-campus drives were assisted by the team of Training and Placement Cell organized by I S Walia-TPO, Tania Mengi-Asstt Prof IMS, Nazali Ali Watali-Asstt Prof IMS and Rataish Raina, Asstt Prof IMS.
