SRINAGAR, Apr 17: Defeating IEI Hockey Club Green in a close contest by two goals to one in the summit clash, IEI Hockey Club Yelow lifted the title trophy of the Junior Women’s Hockey Championship at Sunlight Society Hockey Ground, Gulshanabad, Hyderpora, here.
Raja Ghulam Nabi Wani, Joint Secretary Hockey J&K was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams in presence of Technical Director Shabir Ahmed, National Hockey Player, Mohanmmad Amin and the Chairman of Sunlight Society, Nisar Ahmed.
In the hardliner for third place, Sunlight Hockey Club was declared winner over Cosmos Hockey Club via toss of coin after both the teams scored one goal each in the stipulated time.
