SAMBA, Feb 5: Inter-District State Level (IDSL) Kho-Kho under-17 boys tournament, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports got underway at Rani Suchet Singh Stadium, here today.
Various matches were held under the supervision of DYSSO Samba Kiran Jyoti wherein Doda trounced Ramban by 15 points, whereas Ramban got better of Kishtwar with three points and Doda defeated Srinagar by three points besides, Budgam won the match from Kishtwar by one point.
Reasi district defeated Pulwama with three points, whereas Samba, Kathua and Samba emerged winners by defeating Reasi, Pulwama and Kathua with three, four and one points respectively.
Samba district trounced Kathua wherein Samba won the match with an inning and four points, whereas Udhampur got better of Anantnag by five points and Anantnag defeated Kupwara with also five point besides Udhampur trounced Baramulla by one point.
In a match between Kathua and Reasi, Kathua district won the match by four points, whereas Jammu defeated Kulgam by 12 points and an inning and Shopian won the match by defeating Kulgam with one point besides Rajouri trounced Shopian by four points and Jammu district won the match by trouncing Rajouri with one point.
