HS Rown outplays HS Jaganoo to win U-17 girls kabaddi title

UDHAMPUR, Apr 25: Government High School Rown defeated Government Girls High School Jaganoo by a solitary point to win the Under-17 girls kabaddi title in the ongoing Zonal Level Inter-School Tournament of Jib zone, here today.
117 girls drawn from various institutions of Jib zone participated in the event.
APS Dhar Road defeated GMS Lower Thanoa by 11 points to win the kabaddi Under-14 girls title.
In kho-kho Under-14 girls, Girls HS Jaganoo defeated GMS Sharda by 3 points to win the title, while in kho-kho Under-17 girls, Girls HS Jaganoo defeated Himalayan Academy by 1 point to claim the title.
In badminton Under-14 girls final, Stuti of Sacred Era Experimental School outplayed Khushi of APS Dhar Road, while in badminton Under-17 girls summit clash, Kanika of APS Dhar Road got better  of Rachna of Girls HS Jaganoo.
In volleyball Under-14 and Under-17 girls, APS Dhar Road emerged as the winner.
The Tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the supervision of Sukhdev Singh, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Udhampur, while Sushma Rani Gupta, zonal physical education officer Jib is the overall incharge of the tournament.
The matches were officiated by Ajit Singh, Rakesh Modi, Deepika Manhas, Shashi Bala, Manorama Bharti, Santosh Abrol, Shashi Sharma, Anju, Anjana, Rishi Sharma, Rakesh, Sharda Devi, Rajesh Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar, Vikas, Attar Singh, Neha Sharma  and Karun Magotra.
