JAMMU, Mar 3: Horizon Cricket Club defeated Waris Cricket Club in an easy contest by 7 wickets in the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Cup at KCSC ground, here today.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Waris Cricket Club scored a modest total of 121 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Akash Choudhary top scored with 32 runs, while Henan Malik and Gourav contributed 24 and 15 runs to the total respectively. From Horizon, Sunny took 3 wickets, while Vivrant and Prithvi took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Horizon Cricket Club chased the target in 18.5 overs by losing 3 wickets to win the match by 7 wickets. Jatin Wadhawan top scored with 41 runs, while Vivrant Sharma and Kanhaiya Wadhawan contributed 27 and 22 runs to the total respectively. From Waris Cricket Club, Kuldeep Kumar, Ritik and Raman claimed 1 wicket each.
