JAMMU, Feb 9: Hockey Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory championship 2020 (Men) will commence tomorrow.
The championship is being organised by Hockey J&K , sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium here. The tourney is being organised on league basis wherein 12 teams from all over the J&K UT are going to participate.
The championship will be inaugurated at 9:30 am. The competition will be played under the supervision of umpires, trained by Hockey India. Four matches will be played daily. The semi-finals are scheduled to be played on February 13, while final would be played on February 14 at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium.
The teams which will be participating in the tourney include Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag, Shopian, Ganderbal, Budgam, Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu Red, Jammu Blue, Hiranagar and Kathua, In this championship daily 4 matches will be played.
