KATHUA, Feb 25: A final match of the volleyball tournament, organized by J&K Police at Govt High School Rajbagh, under Civic Action Programme was held between volleyball teams of Bhayia and Hiranagar, here today. Team Hiranagar won the final match in an exciting contest.
Mohan Lal, SP Kathua was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while Additional SP Kathua, SDPO Border, DSP Operation and SHO Hiranagar were also present on the occasion.
The chief guest distributed the trophies among the winners and runners-up teams during prize distribution ceremony.
Large numbers of local people witnessed the final match.
SP Kathua while speaking on the occasion said that organizing sports events is the best way to keep youth away from bad habits.
