JAMMU, Nov 15: 10th Annual Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and fervour at Hermann Gmeiner School, here today.
Syed Bashir Ahmed, chairman, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission was the chief guest on the occasion, while Rajesh Anand, Regional Manager State Bank of India, Region-II Regional Business Jammu was the guest of honour.
Earlier, School Principal R K Dhar presented welcome address and annual report, wherein he highlighted the achievements of the School.
The programme began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest and the other dignitaries.
The children presented colourful cultural items which enthralled the audience and the items included Ganesh Vandana, solo dances, group dances, songs and skits etc.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest highlighted the importance of curricular and co-curricular activities.
The vote of thanks was presented by Geeta Bhan.
