JAMMU, Feb 22: The Kindergarten Wing of Heritage School celebrated its IX Annual day ‘COSMOS’ with a spirit, festivity and merriment, here today.

The other luminaries present on the occasion were Principal GCW, Gandhi Nagar, Prof (Dr) Kiran Bakshi, Dr Chand Trehan the renowned child psychologist, Sunita Gupta, Chairperson, the Principal and the Vice Principal, Heritage School, Jammu.
The function commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the honorable chief guest. The welcome address presented by Vandana Jasrotia, Headmistress, Heritage School.
The highlight of the day was the play ‘COSMOS’ in which all the students from Pre-Nursery to U.K.G. participated and presented an enthralling display of dance and drama. ‘COSMOS’ a eulogy to the beauty of earth and the splendid creations of God made the audience not only witness the marvels of Nature and its bounties but also conveyed the message to appreciate these and enjoy Nature in all its forms.
The Gummy Bears performed their part with such dexterity and skill that the audience were left spell-bound. Their exuberant display of dance skills left everyone enchanted and shouting for an encore. The entire play was anchored by the tiny tots of Kindergarten. It was really amazing to see them deliver dialogues with such finesse. All the children of kindergarten were compulsorily made to participate with the message that every child is important and has hidden talents.
It was also a day to celebrate the achievements of the children who had excelled in scholastic and co-scholastic fields. The achievers of the session were felicitated by the esteemed chief guests.
In her address the chief guest Dr. Yogita Rana appreciated the spirit of all students and the hard work put in by the faculty members.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks presented by the Principal, Heritage School.
