Haryana eves sparkle in free style as National Wrestling C’ship concludes

SRINAGAR, July 2: Haryana girls blossomed in 33rd Boys and 17th Girls Sub-Junior (Cadet)  National Wrestling Championship, which concluded at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, here today.
The Championship was organized by J&K Wrestling Association under the aegis of Wrestling Federation of India and J&K State Sports Council.
Around 1100 players including officials from 27 States participated in the Championship.
Raman Bhalla, Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Youth Services and Sports was the chief guest on the closing ceremony while Dr S P Vaid, ADGP PHQ J&K was the guest of honour.
The medals were distributed by Mr Bhalla in the presence of Brij Bushan Sharan, president WFI in the presence of Raj Singh general secretary WFI and Dushyant Sharma, president JKWA, Dileep Thussu, Secretary J&K State Sports Council, J B Singh, Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council and Ajay Vaid, Secretary J&K Wrestling Association.

Free Style boys: 42 kg, Arjun (Delhi), Ashish (Delhi), Suraj (SSCB) and Monu (WFI); 54 kg, Ravi Kumar (Delhi), Ravinder (Delhi), Sikander (UP) And Abasaheb (Maharashtra); 69 kg, Pritam (Haryana), Sachin (UP), Yuvraj Malik (Haryana) and Deepak (WFI), 100 kg, Ganesh (Maharashtra), Amit (Delhi), Partak (Haryana) and Lovepreet Singh (Punjab).
Free Style girls: 38 kg, Sujata (Haryana), Pradnya (Maharashtra), Simran (Delhi) and Meenu (Haryana); 46 kg, Manju (Haryana), Ritu (WFI), Swati (Maharashtra) and Somia (WFI); 56 kg, Sangeeta (Haryana), Monika (Haryana), Chanada (Delhi) and Manju Kumar (Haryana).
Boys Greeco Roman Style: 42 kg, Anil (Maharashtra), Ajay (Delhi), Ankit (WFI) and Manish (Haryana); 54 kg, Munish (WFI), Taibanganba (SSCB), Sunny (Rajasthan) and Parshant Malik (Uttrakhand); 69 kg, Jai Deep (Haryana), Harsh (WFI), Sandeep (Delhi) and Amit (Haryana); 100 kg, Shajleas (Mahrashtra), Ravi (WFI), Sagar (Delhi) and Sachin (Chandigarh).
