Sunderbani, Sept 20: As part of Display Your Talent Programe -2015, an on-the-spot Poster Making Competition on the theme of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’ was organized in Harsh Niketan Higher Secondary School, Sunderbani today.
About 200 students of both the blocks of the School participated in the Competition. Shruti Sharma and Ankita Gupta bagged 1st position, while 2nd prize went to Jaigosh Sharma and Manya Sharma. Sanwari Naggi and Meenakshi secured 3rd position.
Block Medical Officer, Sunderbani, Dr Govind Sharma presided over the function and gave away the prizes to the students for their best paintings.
In his address, Block Medical Officer highlighted the valuable role of girl child which they were to play during their life for the survival and welfare of the Human Society.
The Chairman of the School Management Committee, S P Suri and Manisha Sharma Co-ordinator of the School were also present and gave away the prizes.
A friendly Volleyball match was also played on the occasion between the students of 9th, 10th and 11th classes. The team of 9th class won the trophy by defeating 10th and 11th classes.
