JAMMU, Aug 2: GD Goenka Public School organised an Inter-House Extempore Competition, here today.
The competition was conducted by the Social Science Department under the banner of Gandhi Peace Foundation, an organisation that promotes Gandhian philosophy and ideology in the society.
The programme started with a welcome speech by Mamta Agarwal, Academic Co-ordinator and Sonika Mahajan, Junior Wing Headmistress.
The participants were judged on the basis of confidence, spontaneity, relevance to the topic, presentation and fluency.
Hannan Khalil Choudhary of Vivekananda House clinched the first position, followed by Arman Luthra of Radhakrishnan House who bagged the second position and the third prize was awarded to Srishti Wali of Vivekananda House.
