BARAMULLA, Dec 5: Hamid Brothers BCC Reds Baramulla defeated Victoris Baramulla by 40 runs and lifted the ‘Big Bash League 2021’ which was organized by Baramulla Cricket Forum at Showkat Ali Stadium here today.
Batting first, Hamid Brothers scored a formidable total of 182 runs in their allotted overs. Shahnawaz Nazir played a magnificent inning of 53 runs.
For Victoria Baramulla, Yasir with 2 wickets was the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, Victoria Baramulla was restricted to 142 runs. Hashim with 31 runs was the top run-getter.
For Hamid Brothers, Sajid and Muntazim picked up 2 wickets each.
Shahnawaz Nazir was declared as Man of the Match for his match-winning knock. Basit Dar was declared as Man of the Series for his brilliant performance throughout the tournament.
