JAMMU, Oct 24: Competitions in the sports disciplines of Gymnastics, Taekwondo and Wrestling for district Jammu under Khelo India 2018-19 were concluded at Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, here.
Kiran Wattal, Ex. Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation was the chief guest on the occasion, while Purnima Sharma, was the guest of honour.
The competitions were conducted by the J&K State Sports Council under the overall supervision of Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu. Ashok Singh, Manager M.A.Stadium, Mr. SP Singh, Manager Mini Stadium Parade, Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Sports Complex, all the Coaches of Sports Council, Office & Ground staff of Sports Council were also present on the occasion.
The gold medallists in Gymnastics in various age groups, categories and events included Dhairya Sharma, Samanvi Sharma, Gourav Chetri, Shweta Gupta, Muskan Raina, Vaibhavi Sharma, Bavleen Kaur, Vandhana Barathi and Tawishi Singh.
