Guru Nanak Club wins Rotary Hockey Cup

JAMMU, Sept 1: The final of the Rotary Hockey Cup, held in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, took place at KK Hakku Stadium, Jammu. The event was chaired by Past District Governor Dr. Dushyant Choudhary and Event Chair Jaswinder Kuku, attracting an enthusiastic crowd, including ADGP Jammu Anand Jain, Mahant Manjeet Singh, and District Governor Dr. PS Grover, who attended as chief guests.
The final match featured two top teams, BSF from Pool A and Guru Nanak Club from Pool B. Guru Nanak Club showcased exceptional skill and teamwork, defeating BSF with a commanding 5-0 victory. Saksham, who delivered an outstanding performance, was awarded the Best Player trophy and a cash prize. Kunal Verma of Guru Nanak Club was recognized as the Best Goalkeeper. The match was officiated by a skilled team including Gargi, Sonia, Supriya, Anju, and J. S. Reen, with umpires Jagjit Singh and J. S. Reen, under the supervision of J&K Sports Council coaches Dalvinder Singh and Anjali Thakur.
